What is KNOXOS?

KNOXOS is a new internet service that monitors interesting content on the web and makes it searchable for its users. KNOXOS immediately shows updates it has found in a change-overview. KNOXOS helps you not to miss out on anything on the web and to find everything again.

How can I use KNOXOS ?

We are currently Beta testing. For Public Demonstration we made visible the websites of all the candidates for Germany’s Bundestag elections 2009. This will demonstrate some of the functions of KNOXOS. If you are interested in KNOXOS, please register under https://www.knoxos.com/register

The Beta version of KNOXOS enables its registered users to keep track of 5 different web sites and use the affiliated functions. It’s free. Are you a company and / or need to know more? Please contact us at sales@knoxos.com.

What are “Favorites”?

Favorites are saved web addresses or web contents. They work just like bookmarks in your browser. Clicking on this symbol will list the web content you are keeping track of.

What are “Current News” ?

“Current News” will show you all updates of your Favorites (web content). You will be informed if any texts, pictures or contents have changed.

What can I search for?

KNOXOS lets you search your entire KNOXOS web content specifically and efficiently. Search terms are highlighted. KNOXOS will find them within the field defined by you, instead of the whole web.

How can I change my user data?

To change your user data please click on the corresponding symbol and follow the instructions.

More functions are available for your profile:

• E-mail notification: Informs you about changes in your web content
• Changes are not monitored if it is a picture: Allows you to in – or exclude pictures from your search
• Number of characters to be monitored: Allows you to define the minimum number of characters that triggers a search
• Show browser extension: Browser extension can be shown or deactivated under “monitor web content”

Browser complications:

E.g. Internet Explorer 6 – Your browser displays the warning message “This page contains both secure and nonsecurs items – do you want to display the nonsecure items?“This may occur when your security settings in your web browser are high for JavaScript and / or your „Latest News“ include pictures. If you reject the warning KNOXOS may not be able to display all changes completely (within the “Latest News”). Pictures may not be loaded and thus be shown as placeholders.Please note that KNOXOS will not be liable for other party’s contents.
